VarioSonic is an “audio only” vario intended to be mounted into
your helmet. It has been especially designed for the minimalist
pilots who want to enjoy free flight with the minimum of technology
and for pilots that want a reliable back-up instrument for cross
country and competition flying.

The VarioSonic can be mounted into helmet. Because of the small
dimensions and the low weight of the VarioSonic it is possible to
mount the vario in many other positions, e.g. to your flying suit, or
the shoulder straps of your harness, for instance experiment to find
the optimal mounting position!
Operation mode
The VarioSonic is switched on with the main switch (located on
the board) or with the additional switch. The additional switch can
be mounted as you well.
The volume can be adjusted with a small screwdriver by turning
the potentiometer. The potentiometer is located on the board.
